Teen STEAM Café

High school students have the opportunity to talk with local scientists and engineers about current cutting-edge ideas in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) in a relaxed and informal setting.

About the Program

Teen Science Café Network provides free events where teens get to socialize over food and refreshments and take on a current issue that impacts them and their local community and examine it through the lens of science.

They connect with local STEM experts, conduct community meetings to share and collect information, and make presentations to elected officials.

The Teen Science Café leadership team meets regularly during the school year to plan STEAM Cafes for their peers while developing their own leadership skills. Only apply, if you are interested in joining the Leadership Team.

All high school students are welcome to attend the Cafes and there is no cost to participate.
