October 12, 2023, students from our Girls Take Flight drone program executed an AMAZING presentation at Morse Highschool!
Girls Take Flight Present at Morse Highschool!
One of the requirements for Girls Take Flight (GTF) participants is that they document their practicum experience over the 25 weeks of the program, edit a video using the data collected by the drones, and present it to EIS (Elementary Institute Science) communities and their school peers.
The GTF participants presented on:
- Flight knowledge
- Networking + Professionalism
- Drone Occupations such as Cinematography and Search + Rescue
- Their overall experience of joining a cohort of young women attaining their part 107 drone certification
The Girls Take Flight participants also did a mini demonstration inside and outside. San Diego SciTech is proud of our participants and all their accomplishments during their 25 weeks in the Girls Take Flight program.
